Kennard Kettle's first season in the efl. He's given out 2 reds in a dozen or so games this season and reviews are not encouraging to put it mildly.
My claim to fame is that I worked with Trevor Kettle in the RAF. I had the pleasure of going to a meeting at HMS Collingwood and staying over there for a night with him, we went to Fareham and ended up in Chicago’s. The best part was that the female bouncer on the door was a Barnsley fan and recognised him, I always remember her exact words to this day ‘you are that w&nker Trevor Kettle that fu(ked over Barnsley, you are barred’. Needless to say, we left him at the door and continued into the club
It seemed like I was waiting for half a life time for his father to reach the mandatory retirement age for referees (was it 47?) only for it to be scrapped just before he reached it. I was gutted and the bugger was allowed to carry onfor years afterwards
