Football is like music it needs rhythm. The lack of every other Saturday will decimate it over time. In chasing short term financial gain they will lose fans and as a result income.
Those with no football background, geed on by SKY, think there's no real need for fans in the modern game. Its killing itself, it'll be a very different game in 30 years time, if the professional game even exists then.
I rarely used to miss a home game, but with age I’ve become less bothered. Probably started with the early round cup ties, only the east stand open and struggling against a team we should really beat, but have fielded a weakened team. So easy just to **** it off mate.
