I have to agree, a did feel as the first half hall went on they were getting more into the game but we created loads of chances which really should’ve seen us 3-0 at half time…….

2 slightly fortunate goals and we’re chasing then, we should’ve made it 2-1 to us before they scored there second, a still think we’re enough as it stands to get a top 6 place

Some very neat and quick attacking football, plenty of chances created, but finishing let us down (especially from corners) and two lapses at the back. Entertaining game and a much better performance than Saturday but we simply have to sort out the key bits at both ends.

Thought we were good tonight against a decent Reading team. Attending Oakwell with the other 7,000 was quite pleasurable for once.

A lot of better performances from a number of players tonight I thought but we have no natural goalscorer so unless we find one in January, this squad will toil to take us up.

A quick word on Reading. Some have described them as poor or bang average!! Give your head a wobble. Their Coach should be given the Manager of the Year award already. I can’t believe how he’s managed to produce a side like that with 50p and both hands tied behind his back. Amazing. Their back 4 were aged 16, 17, 19 and 21. And they all looked hungry and up for it. Oh……their number 10 was a **** though.

Yeah we need someone like the Reading number 10 with seven goals in his last 11 games.....

Three games in a row where there could and should have been more goals and a different outcome. So frustrating. Twice as many shots and shots on target as Reading managed.

It should come good though. At least it is not the opposite way around where they'll eventually get found out once the clinical finishing dries up.

    Performance wise it was ok.

I think the difference maybe the quality of coaching and the fact that when Reading players looked tired they were replaced by players who could contribute.
Our substitutions made us look worse and weakened us.

Maybe it was because it was a back 4 consisting of four centre halves, or the fact that Cosgrove currently looks like a pub player.

    Need some depth in January

Regardless of our bad records at home to both Wigan and Reading, I think those teams will both be going for the Play offs this season.
And yeah I actually thought we'd lose to them tonight, especially when they did the 1-2 come from behind.
It was a decent point gained though tonight, maybe!.
