Our problems are on the field at the moment. Wouldn't bother me if Greg Wallace was head of catering or women's football.

Most would mean that's over 50% of people. And I struggle to believe that's true and really hope it wasn't true.

I can only speak personally, but I was employed by 3 different companies before I first became a director and branched out on my own. None of the interviewers or employees were known to me or had I ever met before. Likewise, everyone I've employed was previously unknown to me through blood or friendship.

As you build up contacts over the years, you certainly refer or engage with some people who you've worked with previously, but it would never enter my head to offer a job to someone in my family or a friend. I'd give advice for sure, but I think people gain more through their own effort than being gifted something that isn't based on merit.

Also brought in a data model that formed part of our player recruitment.

The monstrous lie was that he picked the team

It was also ten levels of bonkers. It was the @Dyson infamous interview with PC, but Liam never suggested that Cryne Junior had anything to do with selecting the team. That PC protested so much that he didn't made me think, for the first time, that he may actually have some say in it.

Hello officer, before you start, I have to say I wasn't at the Nat West at 3pm on Saturday, I don't even know where it is, and I definitely didn't rob £50 grand. Now, how can I help you?

Was a strange one I agree. Bit different to these Q&As now where folk ask about TVs in concourse.

There’s degrees of separation of course. For example I’m in the job I’m in now because of my experience / success doing the same elsewhere. I was only aware of my previous role because a friend was running the contract, so I got an interview with the ops manager.

whilst it’s hardly nepotism, there’s still that element of luck and knowing people. Right place, right time etc.

I bet that if you look back I was actually moaning about the TVs then too. Never mentioned a hand dryer in the toilet not working though

People bring in close family members to help run business because they can usually be relied upon, trustworthy and have a vested interest in generally making it work right.

I don’t see the issue really. JAQ is a minority shareholder, so if other board members weren’t happy, they could easily veto it.

That’s way too sensible a comment for this forum. Go and lock yourself in a dark room.

I'll be proper disappointed if she's not in the starting 11 on Saturday. She'll be no worse than what we already have.
