Instead of sacking the manager……can we sack these lot instead?

I don’t need to keep saying it but……the manager ain’t the problem.

I'd get rid of half our recruitment team and buy out the crynes share to finally cut ties with James and his spreadsheet

You need to go above the recruitment team pal, if they dare pop their heads above the parapet then Neerav and JAQ it's time for you to go.

    PS and James too...

    100% agree.

I’ve posted enough about the problem being at the top.

Don’t want to keep doing it in case I get some form of a ban.

I remember an interview from Bobby Hassell when he was acting CEO saying we tracked Donovan Pines for 18 months, Bambi on ice that lad… he is so bad.

I don't care anymore, they do not know what the **** they're doing. They need to get the club marketed for sale ASAP. James and Jean can do one too.

Yet they are thanked by many for keeping the club afloat.

Other clubs are better run. There’s a good lad on here who left in the summer. I don’t know the reasons why but I’m pretty sure it’ll be something to do with certain decision making.

We are a 5hit show atm.

Slowly spiralling downwards and most can’t see it.

Let’s sack the manager again and give the next one a proper crap deck of cards to play with.

People need to wake up but I’m sure it’ll only be a few more months anyway before it turns on the board.

I don't want to see Clarke sacked, much like I didn't want to see Collins sacked last season but the reality is that Neerav and JAQ will not want the fans to turn on them and the first sign of that happening then Clarke will be out of the door.
The owners are having to put significant capital into the club every season to keep us afloat. It's not sustainable and we are very poorly run.

Name me other Championship or L1 Clubs who are sustainable and survive without any capital injection by the owners or 3rd party funding…..

Why do people constantly go on about the "Recruitment Team"?

We employed an individual last February as Director of Football (or Sporting Director) and they are directly responsible for player recruitment. The buck stops with them. They didn't address any of the main issues within the squad in the summer and I would argue were irresponsible with the limited budget we had.

Are we expecting them to suddenly become good at the job they have never performed before?

Can we please get this charlatan out of our club.

yep. But hey we arent close enough to the early bird ST to sack a manager. Thats what drives their decisions not mid season push.

I think if the recruitment team played against the first team they'd win 4-1.

Which would make them see where the problems are. Maybe?

    Or summat.

It's the only get out they have to chuck some red meat in our direction by getting shut of the head coach but it papers over the cracks. A shoddy match day programme for the Cup game with pictures of Blackburn Rovers who weren't our opponents. An academy that's under delivering. A car park that's often half empty. Little or no ground improvements in years. A Sporting Director who's a stats man and has never coached in the professional game. Like you say if the Club was better run off the pitch then they could actually invest money where it matters rather than covering losses.

That's the problem, we didn't hire a director of football we hired a data analyst

Cloughie, speaking of route one football once said if God wanted football to be played in the air he'd have put grass on the clouds. You could make a similar analogy with data analysts - if God wanted football to be reliant on stats he'd have put grass on the spreadsheets.

James Cryne isn't involved any more and is involved in projects outside of the club, Flatman confirmed that at the Q&A and given the players brought in over the last 3-4 windows, Id say the "Spreadsheet" is well confined to the dustbin.

For me it all went wrong when they over complicated things with analysts and ****, with too many cooks etc!
We got a lot better balance when scouts were out there scouting and managers were allowed to build the balance of the side they wanted, rather than just having players shoved at them.
Personally I think we have a manager who is well capable but is hamstrung by the (un) balance of the type of players that he has available .
Also why do we need so many coaching staff anyway? and at the minute what are they actually teaching? It would seem it’s not how to pick a player out with a cross or how to get a decent attacking header on target ,or a shot that actually has a chance of going in.
There’s no wonder fans are frustrated and disenchanted, a team that just doesn’t score goals, where is the entertainment in that?

Maybe not, but it's still a stats orientated man they brought in for the position rather than a 'football' person.
