They were counted that way before so is that point relevant?

Yes it's relevant if my eyes are suggesting to me that there are more empty seats per game recently even if the official attendances are averaging 500 or so down on last season. I'm sure those at the Club will have access to the numbers who have actually come through the turnstiles. If, as you say, there's only a marginal drop off in match day attendance then it's nothing to be concerned about, we'll know better next season.

I'll take that - tenner to the charity of the winner's choice that when he leaves the club it's not by resignation (and for the avoidance of doubt "mutual consent" isn't resignation)?

Lol, absolutely no chance. I bet he can't believe his luck. Years of journeymanning around the lower leagues and we've been daft enough to set him on. No way is he giving up this gig voluntarily to go back to Cheltenham fuucking Town

If he doesn't he wants sacking, football is getting worse than last season

Isn’t that the definition of insanity!!!! Doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.

If the head coach was the only issue then fair do's, we can't keep operating in this fashion as some kind of vail for being skint, most fans accept we haven't got millions to spend, Danny Wilson moulded a team together with youth and experience I'd even go as far to say players like Wilkinson, Hendrie and Thompson were viewed as has beens by other clubs, but give us something to build on its absolutely rancid to watch
Clarke has been massively let down by Mladen and the recruitment team we are painfully short and look devoid of any identity, infact I'd go as far as to say since Mladen Sormaz was appointed we've mustered 4 home wins in almost 12 months with a big detreation in form under Collins that's carried on.
The product is dire and possibly can't be down to coincidence that his appointment and implementation of a game model is partly responsible for what's being dished up.

Big big window in January which isn't the window to start overhauling a squad

And there were 1200 plus of us tonight, so we haven’t all abandoned them just yet

Then I'd doubt he'd have to resign and lose his contract because he'd be sacked and be paid off

They certainly do fund the club. Not many owners would be willing to put in as much money per season as these lot have mate.

Absolutely zero chance he walks. Massive overreaction.

If we turn it around, he’ll be the best thing since sliced bread. If we carry on like this and drop down the table, he will be dismissed. I can’t think of any manager that would willingly walk, unless because of illness or family reasons.

Give him time, do we have the cash to pay out for another and clubs what have a high turnover of managers get nowhere.

There’s always an overreaction when we lose. This forum has been took over by armchair critics who delight in telling us they’ll never step inside Oakwell at every opportunity

True, but unfortunately I just cannot see him turning it around, Hourihane seems to be getting more involved on touchline all I keep seeing with Clarke is him spitting his dummy out, he doesn't remain calm, but I am convinced the players are only doing what he tells them, which by the looks of it are the wrong things

Why are we talking about the manager resigning? We lost a game deep into injury time against a team who haven't lost at home since Methusela was a lad, a game in which we were at least on a par with Wrexham and maybe marginally the better side overall. We are on the fringes of the playoffs and a good run would see us in with a chance. Have our expectations got to the point where this isn't good enough anymore? I'm disappointed we're not in the Championship - particularly after the gut wrenching defeat at Wembley but come on lads get behind the team on Saturday and take it from there.

Oh and sign a 20-goal-a-season striker in January.

What you say is all true, but you did not mention the 3 home games before yesterday, sorry but we are on a downward spiral

Indeed. I would say I’m the opposite in that I’m probably a bit of a happy clapper so when we win and/or play well, we’re the best team ever, the players are all brilliant, the coaches are doing great and all is right in the world!

Does seem like this board is far more active when we are in a poor run of form but I suppose that’s the way of the world really. Most people are quick to leave bad feedback but rarely leave good. People like to have a whinge.
