You are very easily satisfied if you think there was any good in that performance. What are we building for next season a push for mid table stagnation because it certainly isn't promotion with that squad.

If they thought the booing was bad tonight, then they could be in for a shock if we lose again and don't score again this weekend.

Maybe so. But I've seen plenty of performances over the years where there wasn't anything good but that wasn't one of them. Defensively we were good, we competed well, there was some good interchanges in midfield. I'm as frustrated as anyone but I'm prepared to be patient.

We have an option to extend Humphrys but on recent viewing I’m not sure I would. He tries to do the harder stuff far too often and it rarely comes off but I also think he’s doing a role not fully suited to him at the moment too but we now seem to have made all of our threats become no threat at all.

    Until we weren’t…

    But actually, were we?

They had a lot of chances, Killip probably motm for us - and they didn’t get out of second gear at any point to create the chances.

I didnt boo - i dont - and i clapped the players off but i must admit i might have aimed a bit of a mouthful Clarke's way. Patience wearing thin after 4 3-hour roundtrips in 10 days and a couple of hundred quid spent doing it to get mugged off with his moronic subs.

There was a bit of booing but the support was absolutely tremendous. Sold out and the level of noise throughout was probably the best for a couple of seasons.

I don't understand why people pay north of a hundred quid and waste several hours travelling if us losing away to a team above us in the league is going to make you angry to the point of booing. We're an upper midtable League 1 club, surely loss against the team in 2nd is a forseeable outcome. If losing is going to make you feel that negative then it might not be worth going.

Yeah and we have the same things happen at Oakwell too regardless of league positions. Seems our battling Barnsley tag is dead and buried.

The booing or shall I say vile abuse tonight. Mostly young uns was stupid. If we'd have drawn the opposite would have happened. In the main a good performance and certainly worth at least a draw. I do get frustration it affects us all, but booing is not the answer. Most were clapping not in praise but to drown out the vile abuse imo. Certainly no lack of effort. Dominated the first half In the main. And equal the second.

Killip kept us in the game not the defence midfield have forgotten how to push the team forward they pass it around amongst themselves until they lose possession the strikers start off ok pressing and making forward runs then realise they're not being backed up by the midfield so give up today it took about 10 minutes

I actually think he was a great signing and would definitely renew - he should just have come in after the actual striker that we've needed for about a year and a half. He's a great player - it's not his fault that he's not really what we need.

Like Phillips, he's doing a half-decent job of papering over the very obvious cracks.

We got back to Cambridge at 12.30 am - a 2.5 hour journey, much better than expected.

We didn't boo, but many around us did. A draw woul probably have been a fair result, and even some Wrexham fans outside the ground said that.

Killip and Roberts played well. Can't say the same for any of the other players.

I must also say that, without exception, every single Wrexham fan that we spoke to before and after the game was incredibly friendly and welcoming.

Can't see the problem with booing to be honest. If the team are pants, continually underperform, frustrate, make one wish one had never gone to watch...and time and time again its the same.... then I think booing is actually quite a mild response. The players and coach need to get a wake up call, as do the board. Booing is a wake up call and its fans showing genuine frustration.
P.s. I dont boo myself but completely understand it if its justified over time.

Can’t be arsed with them. I go as part of a day out. I’ve sacked every Tuesday night game off cos I can’t be arsed with the effort to travel 140 mile round trips to see dross.

For what is our biggest home attendance of the season coming up, I really can’t be arsed with it. I’ll end up going as I don’t have an excuse not to go but thank **** my Christmas do at work is for the Exeter weekend and even more so, thank you to my girlfriend who is wanting to do something Boxing Day. People will say ‘nobody is forcing you to go’. That’s true but can’t bring myself to leave it just yet. Next stop will be not buying a season ticket though.

Don’t get the point in booing, it offers nothing but negativity.

It sounds like you don't really understand being a football fan.

Not everything fans do is rational. It's called caring and being invested.
