Games already spoilt with the weather, it'll be a right waste of money.

Spoilt or improved? Anyone with 2 braincells would keep the floor on the deck today and football is much better on the floor than it is with aimless punts up and down the pitch

Absolutely no way basically play a game style to suit the opposition ? They've averaged 78% this season, I'd be making it as s.hit as possible for them definitely a day for swirling balls and big Roberts throws, be suicidal to play the way they want

I don't think there's a way of playing football that going to be beneficial in this weather, unless we've built a retractable roof over Oakwell.

Ffs it’s not a summer sport.

Wind and rain will make it harder to play proper football.

Might neutralise the difference between the sides a bit.

I swear folk are going soft. They used to play in all sorts.

It’s very unpleasant, (I’ve just got here as I wanted to get parked reasonably) - but had I not bothered coming I’d have regretted it.

Bang on. We live in a nanny state these days. Like you say, the weather might be a leveller.

Could be a leveller. I'm not sure a £15m striker will fare any better than a ten bob striker when it's blowing like this.

If nothing else, there'll be some expensive hair-dos ruined today.

Presumably you’ve gone early to make sure you got into ground early to soak up the weather? ;)

I'm remember walking to Oakwell in 10ft of snow, barefoot.

    It'll be a **** game of football

Six inches of snow, but the lines cleared.
Six inches of mud, but the lines cleared.
Corner flags horizontal with the wind.
Foggy, but you can at least see half the pitch (guess the rest).

    Them were t’days.

No but it also doesn't allow good football, the ball goes anywhere
