On his way to Birmingham in January? Been as much use as a wet blanket so far

Another dreadful performance. Should have scored his Dave Regis sitter and can have no complaints with either booking.

If someone wants him, sell him. We can't afford to play a passenger who does nothing.

I get youre emotional and reactionary but to suggest he does 'nothing' is mental. Clearly he's had a dip in form, like he did last season, but he certainly makes up for it plus more eventually.

I may be mistaken, but I think our last decent run coincided with Phillips being out injured. He certainly does not deserve a place based upon his recent performances. Whether he deserves one based upon nostalgia, and the hope that he starts to perform, is definitely a conundrum.

Hopefully mate. I genuinely believe when Max Watters return we might have an uptick of form. Hes looked good under Clarke in his few appearances and has bags of pace when utilised. Could really help take pressure of midfield and stretch defences, giving players like Phillips more time on ball

I have no issues with him being dropped, old mate. I just disagree with the notion he does nothing. He's clearly off form - Nwakali needs a start. Makes sense to me!

He plays like he is off in January.

His stock 'll be pretty low. Get me in the job sign some wingers and drop Connell. Tell Hourihane "if you carry on being a chocolate fireguard you'll melt".

The world would be a better place from a Barnsley F.C point of view.

He might be off in Jan, but I dont believe that's why he's playing like this. Weve seen it in previous 2 seasons this dip in form, hence why he's been here this long in first place

He does mate. Thats why I was annoyed at Clarke against Wrexham because there was loads of space to pick a pass in that midfield, he would have been perfect for it

Don't worry about Clarke. He'll be gone in next few weeks (if not tomorrow). Board full off spineless ********. He'll take the fall.

It’ll be interesting to see how we get on without Phillips next weekend . Nwakali looks like the best midfielder at the club to me. He’s always available and keeps the play moving in complete contrast to Phillips who drifts in and out and is never influential.

At the minute on form, if you simply watched recent performances both Phillips and Connell would be behind Nwakali for me.
