He helped forcing the transfer by submitting a request so rules one out.

While Phillips has been poor overall he forced a good save from their keeper just before half time arguably our best attempt of the half and played DKD through at the start of the 2nd half after Humphrys was blocked. So despite being poor he could at least of changed the game out of the blue.

DKD on the other hand offers nothing. He didn’t have an effort on goal or cause them any problems. He also doesn’t create anything for us either. He either needs dropping or playing centrally behind the strikers where he was at Mansfield because he’s offering nothing currently and looks a very big waste of money.

I thought Phillips did ok today. Not back to his best yet but getting better.

I was a bit baffled by the MOTM choice, I would have given it to Russell myself.

Gent looked odds on for MOTM at half time but then had a poor second half

He's not a centre forward, his body language looked poor today, doesn't look like a player enjoying his football at present.
There's no link up play with Humphrys when humphrys gets in good positions and holds it up he's not playing off him.
Either needs a rest or has to play as a 10

If Jalo is fit for next Saturday, surely it's time for him to be given a start ahead of DKD.

Do you know how daft these statements sound mate? Take Messi's dribbling away, take Walkers pace away, take Maldini's positioning away... Phillips is currently off form, I wouldn't be against dropping him either. But it's mental to say something like this as though he hasn't scored and asissted bucket loads for us over the past couple of years.

Definitely. I’d even start Aiden Marsh over him.

I don’t rate Marsh highly at all. At least he’d have a go though.

I feel for Clarke as he has few options and the squad imbalance (and lack of quality) isn’t on him - but his insistence to play essentially the same team which isn’t working, and to shoe horn DKD into a position he can’t play, is grating on me massively.

As someone who would limit the number of free kicks in a game to a maximum of 9, I think he fits right in to the modern game of no contact and therefore don’t actually blame him. The game these days is a complete embarrassment as are the modern players who turn this dirge out.
