Matchday Megathread,Barnsley v Birmingham City

Given the “highlights” don’t show the non-penalty, has anyone got a link to share that does show the incident?
The highlights were mostly all us (and yes, the Phillips tackle should have been a second yellow)

keep the faith, it’ll be better come January. If we get top 6 it’s a bonus (and we’re still only 8th)

Yeah, its a weird thing to say lol.
He hasn't lost the dressing room, its still in the same place actually!.

 

I'm sure its annoying Clarke just as much as the rest of us.
Individual errors here and there which keep costing us (conceding goals and not scoring goals) aren't exactly a coach or managers fault.
And even if it is sometimes down to awful referees, then once again its not his fault.
However, I realise the facts are there and its worrying that we're 21st now in the current League form table.

 

Well what can i say, the game was ours for the taking, i cant believe we lost, we shouldav got at least a point, but we did'nt an the rot continues, the ref should be re assessed, gutted, keep the faith, C,O,Y,R.

 

Just looking at the penalty incident. I can see why he hasn't given that to be honest. The defenders hands are clearly on him but I'm not sure there is enough force to bring him down. Then you look at Humphreys body position as he falls, it doesn't look natural at all for where any pressure from the defender would be.

On balance in the modern day I'd expect that to be given more times than not, but it's still a player trying to buy a penalty which sadly happens just about every game.

 

It could have been given but like someone else said we'd be unhappy if it was given against us.

 

Disappointed, Birmingham weren't that great, caught napping again for their goals!
