Different walking out jacket every week. Just relentless commercialism. P:ss off Hate modern football
I agree about the commercialism but I think gone are the days when younger fans wanted the home and/or away shirt, and there's an element where clubs are having to generate revenue for FFP reasons, which again proves the whole system is flawed. The hard-core City fans won't buy into it, the market for vintage football shirts it's booming btw. Unfortunately and it's not just City, football finances are messed up the priorities are to generate revenue to be able to spend on players and improve. City's are more engaged with the fan base than most hence the £300million investment on a large safe standing area to keep ticket prices down and fan park to engage with the fans. As an aside, did anyone see that clip of the Ugandan village all stood holding arms and holding pictures praying for Amorim, hehe - didn't work did it, lol.
