They clearly thought Phil Foden and Jack Grealish were better players. Looking a tad daft now but he wouldn’t have played much had he stayed. I don’t suspect even Chelsea saw him being this influential.
Palmer is at the start of a journey which could lead to his becoming regarded as one of the greatest players of all time. And what an amazing temperament he's got! Does he ever get angry?
City let him.go because of 2 reasons 1. His whole family are United fans, he's a big red and whilst Foden was winning Champions Leagues and Player of the Years he said the moment United come knocking he will doone. 2. City have a player coming in from River Plate called Claudio Echeverri 18 but signed when he was 15, one of the reasons Pep has stuck around
Chelseas 8 year contract counts for nothing btw with the new regs, he'll be gone to United soon as he gets chance.
Cos his while family are massive Reds he'll be gone soon as United find the minerals to offer the money
He appeared to leave city cos he wanted to play week in week out, he strikes me as a lad with integrity, he’s Chelsea’s main man in a team who have turned a corner it appears……man it’s are 11 players off being a decent team yet so not sure he’ll be itching to joint them
I find it incredible how calm he is. He never seems to get flustered. Even when opposing players are trying to rough him up he seems to always keep his composure. He has a very similar temperament to Messi.
What's happened to Foden? Seems to have disappeared this year. Hasn't started many games and has been toss when he has played.
Not a chance. Also, the new regs are the regs going forward, and don’t affect contracts that are already in place.
