Donald John Trump becomes only the 14th person to ever win it more than once. For the record in case he does, there is only Theodore Roosevelt who's won it three times.

He's certainly a person and it is 2024. I think it would have been a tad more accurate if they'd called it 'nastiest person of 2024'. Trump, Netanyahu, Putin, Orban etc. Would have been close.
Hitler was personality of the year in one US mag in the 30's. That turned out well...

I mean, I hate him as much as anyone with half a brain, but they're probably right aren't they?

He's the person who's been in the news most and has now got the most influence throughout the world.

Caveat: I've never read similar articles before, so don't know if they're putting a positive spin on it. If they are, then christ.

Other winners of this prestigious award include Adolf Hitler, Josef Stalin (twice), Richard Nixon (twice), even Vladimir Putin.

Some of those are “quite questionable” from a political point of view…

Last year it was Taylor Swift, so I have no idea what the criteria is.

There's hardly any properly influential people these days anyway.

Sadly people like Nigel Farage and Steven Yaxley-Lennon have far too much influence
