Stewart Lee is my favourite by some distance. Not everyone's cup of tea. Seen him many times & was lucky enough to meet him once.

Saw Toby Foster at the Lamproom, he was quite good & Al Murry at the Civic, brilliant.

Mrs Tonjy wanted to see Ricky Tomlinson at the lamproom, supported by "chase me" Duncan Norville. I thought Christ, this is going to be a long night. Ricky certainly lived down to my expectations but Duncan was absolutely and utterly hilarious. I've seen quite a few shows over the years, but the two I still rave about are David Bowie at Leeds Rollarena and Duncan Norville at the Lamproom, so ND,'s in good company as far as I'm concerned.

Saw him in Leeds in Feb and Sheff last week - very good as ever. Also saw Herring do his podcast in Sheff 2 weeks ago and have tix for his stand up later in the year.

Were you at the Tom Wrigglesworth / Paul Heaton gig? I really enjoyed that.

That's the one! I'd not heard of TW, he was quite funny. Paul Heaton was great, seems like such a super bloke.

I listened to his radio show, and thought it was brilliant.

Now Paul Heaton, was GOOD. I know nothing about music, I'm just not normally interested but he was brilliant, down to earth and funny.

I liked him when he first started (on QI or HIGNFY etc) but he hasn't aged well has he?

Hey guys, just looking back again at this thread.
And as usual, like we all have favourite music or films or beers/lagers or what to have for breakfast/dinner lol, it's all about opinions innit!.
I've gone off a number of former comedians who I used to like, and who I just don't find funny anymore. For example I see Peter Kay is doing a new tour, but this just doesn't interest me anymore.
As some of you on here might have noticed, I do like watching and quoting Gary Delaney a lot. And I also used to think Tim Vine was funny at that sort of thing.

Clinton Baptiste is very funny, as is Troy Hawke, who I first saw a few years ago in the village hall where I lived. He has come a long way since then.
