I wonder what the Native American Native Australian and Native New Zealanders think when all these white descendants of immigrants want to stop immigration into their countries if only they'd have thought of it 200 years ago.

Americans are basically under educated idiots in the main who believe everything they are told by rich people. The low level of knowledge of world events past and present in the American population would astound most Europeans.

I do watch some of those silly street interview things sometimes mate and I always think surely it's fake. Stuff like 'which country bla bla bla' and they answer London or Paris etc lol. There's loads of basic 3 year old knowledge questions they get wrong. It cant be real:eek::D

I went to the USA when I was 18 and was asked "Did you come by train?"

Yeah, I've seen a number of them. If it's not fake, its scary. People in the USA who can't name 5 states in the USA.

My favourite one was "Where was the Vietnam war fought". Answer - Canada.

oh, and "If you travel 60 miles an hour for one hour, how far will you have travelled". Answer - "I don't know, I am no good at maths"

I watched a couple of Democrats being interviewed post election, one view they put forward was that Trump's macho posturing appeals to males within those two groups

As someone that works with Americans, is married to an American and spent some time living in America... Unfortunately it's almost certainly real.

It's a different world. The level of education in american schools is scarily low.

There are some states still teach the bible as unquestionable fact...

I've been reading bits and bobs and there's whole schools in inner cities where not 1 student passed maths and very low rates for other subjects. It's crazy

Yeah sorry bud I don’t think I meant to quote your post when I wrote this; doesn’t make sense in any context.

Reduce, reuse, recycle. The starting point for improving the planet should never be recycling, it should be the avoidance or minimising of use wherever possible. After that it should be to gain the maximum use from each item rather than single use. Recycling is obviously better than disposal and landfill but the resources required to enable recycling can outweigh the benefits of the act.

That said, I'm happy to reuse and recycle the opinion that Musk is a twunt.
