It'll be end of football for me. That's what I dream about seeing Barnsley taking on the elite again.

Shows what they think of fans opinion!
Personally, I'd say if you want it, ave it! But if it fails and you come back, you have to start at the bottom, plus any English players would no longer be selected for the national side.

When English Clubs qualify for the Champions League nobody takes their bat and ball home. What's described in the article sounds more a tournament to rival the existing Uefa competitions. If they want the extra fixtures let them have them.

24 teams in a league isn't 'extra' fixtures its instead of domestic leagues

Excellent news.Get them gone, I wouldn't watch if it was in my back garden.

Only really interested in the EFL anyway, so hope that remains unscathed.

Splits in sports regimes are never good news, take cricket i.e.Kerry Packer days, and golf with the split to LIV, greed is killing sports for definite but you do need everyone together. Golf comps are no longer the same now that some of the worlds best players play for a different organisation.

They can go with my blessing, but if part of their 'deal' to exit the PL is by letting their kids teams join the EFL then I'm done.
Hard enough getting motivated to see us watch Wigan at Oakwell, will be no motivation at all watch Bournemouth U21 at 3pm on a Saturday (not that 3pm on a Saturday happens that often)

Well put. However, if that's all we have to aspire to I won't waste any money in the meantime.

The latest incarnation seems to suggest that entry into the "super league" will be based on domestic results in the previous season. This begs the question, in what significant way will this be any different to what we have now? I'm not sure if it is meant be a single league combining the two current competitions or some sort of Super Leagues 1 and 2.
