If you can get 2-3 years for shoving a police van or kicking a shield the sentence should be proportionate, 7-9 years

That can't be true, I'm sure I read they weren't going to get charged because they're not white or summat.

Nearly 6 months it’s took for this, yet other people got sent down within a few weeks after the riots. Crazy. As Juddy G explained they should get a lengthy sentence.

There were complications with this case, not least of all because of the ‘actions’ of a Police officer. The riots were just that, simple morons going to burn a building with people inside. Hope all get the justice they deserve

people don’t understand the difference between a sentencing hearing where someone has entered a guilty pleas and a full on trial where the defendant indicates they will put in a NG plea

Not sure if this is for another thread K. One of the rioters at manvers is not up for trial (well known amongst a lot of Barnsley fans) till December 2025. Waiting for reports. As someone else said, plead guilty, a trial is not needed lesser sentence.
Article can be found in todays Chronicle.
    R U going tomorrow btw. Mines a Moretti :).

    Only in Rochdale ehh ?.
Btw, the brothers' solicitor, says his clients maintain their innocence, and will vigorously contest the allegations!.
I was shocked at the time at what the copper did, and its still shocking to see it now again, despite what the provocation was.
Those two were absolutely NOT innocent of course, but they are trying for their 'rights' to an appeal now.
But why is it not surprising ehh that the police haven't been charged, with anything at all.
