How is pines even an option? Absolutely awful defensively. Nice lad but should be a striker clearly because he defends like I shag. Badly

Gave him as an option as he was the only other starter I felt put any effort in. Best of an absolutely ***** bunch first half. Still gash mind.

Bit poor this Jimmy. I know the point you are making and I know people can write other players but the poll should be a poll, with all the players on.

I’ll vote Nwakali. His worst performance for us by a mile, defensively disastrous at times and gave the ball away a bit.

But he did a fair impression of a professional footballer on the odd occasion so I’ll go for him.

Cotter was the only other worth thinking about for me.

I made as much effort as the players did. Votes recorded though.

I fully appreciate the time and effort you've put in to this over the years, old mate. However, I can't bring myself to vote for any of the players tonight.
    Sorry.

I know sorry wasn’t being arsey I was so disappointed in the lack of effort and application. Losing is never an issue but we had too many putting zero effort in.

I'm no Pines fan but thought he reached levels of averageness today, so fair play.

Nwakali showed some good touches in midfield. The move where he took two players out was brill. Watters showed some attacking intent when he came on. Pines had a good game. Some of his clearances were unorthodox, but he did his best and did quite well. But Cotter came on like a man on a mission. He did more attacking in the short time he was on than the rest of the team did all match. He even threw a crunching tackle into the mix.

But too many players were anonymous. Orient weren’t even any good. They knew that all they needed to do was stick tight to Humphrys and we were going nowhere.

And my timing for saying how well Killip had done recently was impeccable. Less than a minute later he let the first goal in and went to pieces. Although he did well convincing the blind linesman that he wasn’t sat over the touchline, holding the ball. I’ve seen linesmen miss things before, but that one today was the most bizarre!
