My Dad said the same. We watched it at his on the internet. There's no excuse for the lack of work rate, commitment or effort.
I'm pissed off, but I'm going to enjoy my wine and my family tonight and ,like our plqyers today, forget about football until after Christmas ! Merry Christmas everyone!
Much like the players, I'm not actually that bothered anymore - my passion for Barnsley FC has dwindled and I probably won't go much now, no season ticket next year. It's just such a drain going to Oakwell, you can't park at the club if yiu want to get home at a reasonable time, you can't get a nice pint, the shop is full of market level tat, and the football? I should have gone to watch Wombwell beat Dronny 9-1!!
Our so called head coach, seemed to be pushing hourihane and other coaches away , today. If that's the case he has to go and if the board read this please listen to a core of approximately 10000 reds fans who have watched them a lot longer than you, and get a manager who has some experience and some idea of motivating players
Good post and I agree with the majority of it but football is such a weird game and big Val's season is testament to that. We can't panic and need to give Clarke the January window to try and rebalance the squad.
Merry Christmas to you too Helen..I got home and my 10 week old grandson smiled at me... more to life than football eh.......
Merry Xmas BBS. I'll be there for Wrexham game. More to life than football. Been at match today with mates that I started going to matches with in 2003. Hadn't seen them until Stevenage this corresponding game last year for 7 years. We're all still best of buddies.
It was really exciting. Thomas, Evans, Winstanley, Pat Howard et al. I would definitely swap it for today’s offering.
The caller on Radio Sheffield on the way home said it right. Asked what went wrong today he replied with, we kicked off.
Played their game to the conditions (up to the 3rd goal when I bailed) We were playing the same old ( at home) shìt we've done all (and last) season.
Don't know about venting my spleen but I wept a bit in injury time when Cooper replaced Currie. Memories of happier times on the hallowed turf.
