They’ll say and do nothing until the dust settles and everyone calms down. Which is sensible. They’ll still say and do nothing after that as well though. Which isn’t sensible.
Last season the fans had just started to turn on the board and guess what, Collins was out the door. I can't see Clarke lasting to be honest, only on the basis that JAQ and Neerav won't want the fans turning on them again and I guarantee that will happen if we have a disastrous January transfer window. January is a massive month for them, they've got an unbalanced squad that could take at least 2 more transfer windows to rectify. Clarke deserves more time IMO but he won't get it.
They're fuelling fire. No Phillips or Connell. Hourihane promoted to Assistant Head Coach and that shambles. You couldn't make it up.
I do think yesterday has been on the cards. Even today, delete their goals, thinking about previous home form we are clearly woeful at home. We have no sense or style of our play, we don’t set up with any vigour to win at home - it’s a massive problem. I do think this was an issue both last year and this and 50% of that argument sits with a core of the players that were here this year and that. Equally last years and this years manager couldn’t instruct the team to play with any tempo - we haven’t even got to defensive solidness I haven’t got a solution, sack him, yes, done that before, we are in regress since Wembley. We have no identity on or off the pitch. yesterday was not ‘a bad day at the office’ we need to be honest amongst us about that
