Whist all that might correct….I couldn’t imagine him taking on a club like Aberdeen or any other club that hasn’t got an endless pot of money and taking them to European honours, he’s good but not the greatest, that’s just not aimed at just pep by the way. Also that’s only my opinion

It's so ironic this, ffs, Fergie just bought the best players from his nearest competitors for 10 years, he had Gary Neville try and tap up Gerrard at one point, hair dryer treatment 4 4 fkng 2 and never venturd to the training ground, sorry you're a fool of you think he was anything other than a bully with money.

Aberdeen? Pep built a dynasty at Barcelona and another at City.

Oh and by the way 8 of the 13 Premier League titles Fergie won were before the transfer window was introduced, during a time when clubs could just buy players throughout the year.

I hear what you’re saying… it’s just that your howling at the moon is making Man City’s inept amusing defeats and watching Guardiolas head go completely, all the more enjoyable.

Did Man United under Fergie get charged with 115 counts of financial dodginess? Or is it 130 now? I lose count.

Ferguson also got results with average/decent Premier League players like O'Shea, Fletcher, Park, Cleverley, Smalling, Jones, Evans, Welbeck, Hernandez, Brown, Them Brazilian Twins and loads more.

Ferguson is the best manager in history I think.

Yeah, as you'll recall that's how Joe Royle got City out of Division 2. Buying Terry Cooke in April to get them over the line.

And the City fans in the main are pretty humble and realise where the club has come from, they've been blessed to witness things no other club and fan base has ever seen, it'll take at least 2 windows to replace the ageing squad but those players have earnt the right to leave on their terms. Unlike when Fergie basically got shut of Bruce and Keane, the later of which hasn't got a good word to say about the man. Wonder why.

No but his son the agent Jason dipped his bread when United signed Ronaldo from Sporting. Then again in those days brown paper bags were handed out in service stations.

Fergie knew his players well. He knew that players with personalities like Scholes & Giggs could adapt to been squad players & wouldn’t kick up a fuss about missing games.

Keane had to go, his body was failing him & there’s no way he could’ve ever been the type of personality to adapt to a bit part role.

Of all the top players Fergie moved on (through his own choice). Is there any you can argue he got wrong?

I thought he got it wrong selling Stam at the time but with him testing positive for drugs soon after leaving that also turned out to be the right choice.

The point I was trying to make is if Fergie lost his entire back 4 to injury he could bring in replacements as cover during the season. Pep is having to endure more than half his squad in the treatment room and the others playing with injuries and having to wait until January to do anything about it.

As I've already said, people laughed at Chelsea when they spent £1.4billion on building a 40 man squad. Not laughing now are we?

And he's showing that the second he doesn't have a ridiculous squad at his disposal he's absolutely clueless.

Wrong, again. He works with a 22 man squad, much smaller than most and he's now admitted that because of the number of games the players are playing, 60, 70 games a year for some of them, 22 is too small. City should start doing what Arsenal do when Internationals come around, withdrawing players for 'knocks'. They'll learn from this and 22 will become 26 - 28 and why will they be able to recruit so many top top players so quickly?? Because they all want to play for Pep. FACT.

City actually won league titles before the Premier League was created, but then again, Arsenal's stats are based around Herbert Chapman.

City haven’t lose their entire back 4.

Walker, Akanji & Gvardiol were all regulars last season. Even Dias has been playing most of the games.

It’s not even much of an injury crisis.

Newcastle played for 6 months last season with between 10 & 14 first team squad players missing.

Man Utd had nearly a full 11 missing for big chunks of last season & no one gave Ten Hag a pass.

The biggest issue at City is recruitment. They’ve got it badly wrong over the past few transfer windows.

They’ve also sold a lot of top young talent that they should have held onto.
