He's only to blame for the last 3-4 months. Which are no worse than the preceding 3-4 months. Constant changing of the head coach isn't the solution (although I do think Clarke is on thin ice given he's not getting the best out of the players at his disposal).
This is the thing. His replacement would be from exactly the same background. Lower league, used to working with a tight budget, or someone else from abroad we have to google.
I think if we get rid of Clarke these same players will perform for Hourihane and Devaney. I reckon it's Clarke and they aren't playing for him. He'll be gone after the Wrexham game.
But they’re mostly playing for him away. I saw a reaction with my own eyes at Exeter. He gave them a bollocking at half time and they came out a yard quicker.
Same team talk but it seems they came out like quivering jellyfish instead of roaring like wounded lions
None of them performed for Devaney end of last season either….. Perhaps Devaney is the problem! How far do you go with it? It’s also pretty much the same squad who couldn’t find the home form for Collins as well.
From reading that he knows he's treading water, under pressure big time. Bigging up the top brass. See if they back him in January.
Saturday was a bad result and performance similar to Lincoln last season hopefully we strengthen in January especially with long term injuries.
