    Midge still likes to do 'Hymn' as well doesn't he, from the early 80s Ultravox days. And by the way, is this one of the rare times, when the song title is not actually in the lyrics!. :rolleyes:
    And there's his mate Billy Currie on the keyboards lol.

    I wouldn’t put CB in the synth pop bracket. Synth yes…. Eventually , industrial post punk electronic noise…. but definitely not pop, 100% torchbearers to anything that followed though especially in Sheffield.

    It’s very difficult categorising music styles and what is classed as popular.
    They certainly became more commercial in the 80’s and were a major influence to bands who produced more “ popular” style music

    Hey while it's not exactly the synth-pop style music we've been talking about, this is still Omd at their best in the 80s. :)
