Enjoyed it, although it’s all become a bit predictable, and I think it’s now run its course.

Loved the entire run although the last episode yesterday was very predictable, bit I've seen a lot worse.

Watched the first 15 minutes then turned it off.Bored to tears and wooden acting. To be fair I've watched some episodes in the past and enjoyed them but this was dross.

I don’t like him because he thinks he’s hilarious…. And just isn’t. I don’t hate him or anything, just not my kind of humour.

Comedy is subjective. This forum alone should tell you that plenty of people have a strange sense of humour.

For what it’s worth, as it goes, I thought the final was tidy. Did it need to be 90 minutes? No. Could they have got some more jokes in? Absolutely. But a positive, heartwarming end to a 17 year old story on Christmas Day… Crackin’!

Was great all the way through, also like Corden when he was on League of Their Own

I saw an interview with Matthew Horne (Gavin) a couple of weeks ago. It's been rumoured for years that they didn't make any episodes between 2010 and 2019 because James Cordon had fallen out with Matt Horne. In the interview, Horne was asked about "the falling out", and he said something along the lines of, 'people believe what they want about James'. He essentially put the series coming to an end in 2010 down to Cordon being too busy with other stuff, and nothing to do with a falling out. He basically said there's a lot of hyperbole and misinformation associated with how James Cordon is as a person. It does seem strange that so many people call him arrogant without being able to substantiate why they feel that way.

As for the finale, yes it was predictable, even down to me predicting who Gwen's mystery lover was, but it was a perfect send off for an absolute classic British sitcom.

The only thing I would say about it is that it was very formulaic, boy loves girl, loses girl, pantomime villain, race against time, dummy ending, and it all turns out fine in the end.
It was all a bit forced.
And I predicted Gwen's lover as well and I'm thick so it shows how predictable it was. Having said that, I did enjoy it.

The best sitcom of its’ era by a long way. Brilliant from start to finish.

I always found it a bit 6/10 - not funny enough to be a great comedy, not interesting enough to be great despite the lack of big laughs.

Easy watching but I've never really got the hype.

What I like is that Corden and Jones wrote it but didn’t set themselves up as the main characters, in fact it was only a great amount of fan pressure that made them write an ending for their own stories.
