Not after todays game (that will follow later) but his attack on BBC after their 0-0 at Wycombe https://www.bbc.co.uk/sounds/play/p0kdg3bj
He’s a man under pressure: and I don’t just mean his futile attempts to get a 44” waistline into a pair of 38”waist trousers.
I said that when the score was 0 1 ,I wouldn't be surprised if Bolton pull the trigger now ,with Mark Robins being a free agent and transfer window just around the corner.
Isnt robins favourite for west brom job? He can get a much better job than a inconsistent Bolton side in league one
We also thought that about Evatt (him getting sacked, not what he puts in his trousers lol), early on in the season, then they started winning all of a sudden.
it really surprised me yesterday how poor Bolton looked. We obviously played well which made them look poor but they looked a completely different side to the ones from the last couple of seasons. I thought last season in particular they looked really strong. Played some very good football , and a strong spine to the team. They looked so poor yesterday seemingly resorting to hoof ball. Mcatee was anonymous.
Didn't he drop to league 1 with Coventry. Not sure WBA will go for him. Bolton are certainly under achieving under Evatt with the budget he as .
He took cov from league 2 to the championship well the brink of the prem and a f.a Cup semi. I just think he's achieved too much to drop to league one.
Robins will bide his time and easily get a good championship job. No way he’d drop back to L1 after what he’s achieved .
First time in along time yesterday we moved the ball with some zip and purpose, we were very bright and industrious, on the whole we defended much better, their plan was to attack us down the flanks, credit to Okeefe and Gent I thought they were superb at getting back and not allowing the space down our wide areas, Bolton became devoid of ideas, they must have sprayed double figure passes out for a throw to us constantly trying to switch to wide areas to no avail. Proper grown up performance that yesterday, all credit to us tactically nullified them
Best thing for us that Bolton can do now is keep Evatt as unless he wins pretty much every game the knives are out in the fanbase. there’s been a x account called “Has Ian Evatt been sacked yet” that’s been posting everyday since the play off final loss. https://x.com/evattoutyet?s=21&t=trUrLWLsldTn2T7z_vrQBw
Their matchday programme was poor too and made ours look good. They had Slonina as our keeper to watch when he's not played for ages and worse than that they had our chairman down as Maurice Watkins, I kid you not.
I'm surprised none of our lot were singing this to Evatt... "Sacked in the morning, your getting sacked in the morning!".
Wrexham one they clearly just copy and paste and forget to remove someone that played against them previously
