Midfield is a bit of a conundrum right now. I don’t think Connell can be left out as he is the only one that will stick his foot in. If he isn’t playing, the opposition will waltz through. Of the brief time we’ve seen him, Nwakali is easily the best on the ball out of them all. Phillips and DKD both quite similar in that they will have quiet periods of the game but are most likely to pop up with a goal or assist. Russell is the one that most will want out I would guess but he played well against Bolton. Given Connell’s recent illness and the amount of games we have, I’d imagine there will be rotation for the starting position and then during the game. Got to trust in Clarke to get it right.
