That's 2 managers already this season, they really have been abysmal in the championship, haven't once even threatened the top 6
He's only been there for three months lol. Jon Walters says they now realise that he's not the 'right fit' for Stoke Fc, and that he also has to take responsibility for appointing him. They're getting as bad as Watford, for making more than one bad appointment and sacking, each season!.
As far as potential goes, Stoke is a big area and they should be doing better. Mark Robins might be tempted there, especially as he did well at Cov, a similar sized club.
I have a mate who’s a Stoke fan. He’s from Bradford, lives in Ponty, supports Stoke, although I don’t think he actually attends many games. I’ve always found them a dour club, probably how others see us really. Unless you live locally, or have relatives that do, you’re not really going to be enamoured. I think the days of the direct, physical football with the long throws really suited them, and trying to move away from that style hasnt helped them, or their identity.
It’s not that long ago they were in the Prem with other clubs calling the atmosphere in the stadium one of the best
