I think it hinges on what business we do in January. Very difficult window to do good recruitment but if we pull it off it's definitely on.
It’s very competitive this year. I think that there’s only a max of 2 places available so going o ne hard unless we sort the home form out.
We just need to improve our home form - easier said than done I know, but even an average run at home will see us gain places as long as our away form continues. We aren't too far away.
I don't know, I remember when we once won under Schopp someone on here actively saying it was bad news because he'd be given longer!
I agree and also one of top four at this stage of season usually fade away, so perhaps 3 places left, good that we going into main part of season in good form, come on!!!
Let me get this right. Bottom of league beginning of dec promotion end of season. I wonder if that's ever happened.
Whilst that probably would be something I agree with, 2 games is all it would take to make it look completely different. Wednesday were flying and then look what happened, completely dropped out of top 2
On Boxing Day 2015 we were 4th bottom with 21 points from 22 games (W6 d3 l 13). We were 17 points off a play-off spot. Our next 27 games, including the play-offs, brought 19 wins, 5 draws and just 3 defeats. At the end of the season, after beating champions Wigan 4-1 away, Walsall 6-1 on aggregate and Millwall 3-1 at Wembley, we were arguably the best side in the division. We are in a much better position today than we were 9 years ago.
Don’t know about that, one of my favourites was “sack the clown”after going one nil down to Exeterthere’s loads to choose from if you have a good look
Injuries will start to kick in now too. The teams who have invested millions will maintain their top 6 ,the others will struggle. Our season really depends on a good January window . Our home form will pick up in 2025 that is for certain. It cannot get any worse that is for sure. Mid table was suggested by most on here ,so we are punching above our weight.
