    I hadn't realised that Michael Mellon had signed already for Stockport on loan from Burnley. We nicked Bobby Thomas from his Bristol Rovers loan, so I wonder if we could do the same with Mellon. He did really well in previous loan spells, albeit at League Two level. Would Burnley accept a cheeky bid? Do we have any spare cash? Probably no to both those, but he is worth a mention. I still think that either Forss, or Hoppe from Boro might do for us. Any more?

    I have just checked on Mellon. He has only played four times for Stockport since signing in the summer window on loan from Burnley. Two of those were in cup competitions and he has played less than fifteen minutes in the league games in which he has come on as substitute. Worth pinching him, even now that Louie Barry is on his way back to Villa.
