de Gevigney should have won motm. Gave everything and battled, he deserves the badge and i think hes not given the praise he deserves with his efforts for a frenchman. Psychologically there is something a miss. When we score or on top we just get scared, I think there should be a bit more arrogance in our play when we are winning. We drop 10 yards per goal that we score surely that's not the coach?

I've just opened a full case of Solarejo beer and put the Aircon on. I'm gonna get coolly drunk :p
And it's 21 degrees here and still light.
Dry January after the last 2 hours??

Great game. A draw would probably have been a fair result but who cares.

Wrexham had no one who could produce the quality that DKD & Phillips supplied in the first half. They are a well organised strong team though and it took a really good second half from Killip to win the game.

Agreed. Hard to argue with Killip getting motm given the saves he pulled off but de Gevigney was outstanding today.

Superb result. What a great Christmas period. 3 games, 9 points, much improved performances and some great goals. I have really enjoyed these last 3 games.

I agree about Gent and Nwakali. However, Wrexham are a very good side, filled with a lot of experienced players who've had very good careers at Championship level and above. It's not really surprising that they did everything they could to try and find an equaliser, but by and large we stood firm in absolutely vile weather conditions.

Don’t often get to watch us…. Great heart, great spirit, great result…all not helped by the manager

strange subs and then a refusal to make any more, left back/centre mid were crying out for a change I thought after an hour.

Pines has won a raffle I assume? He’s never been a footballer that’s for sure

I disagree. A draw would not have been a fair result. WE deserved to win and our spunk this afternoon has been IMMENSE. At one point we were 5 men down ie 6 (4 injured + Cosgrove) v their 12 including the Ref. I hope their Manager is ok as I feared he was going to have a cardiac arrest with all his JC impersonations and manic ranting.

Boo indeed. I did think seriously of partaking in the dry January.
Then I had a lie down and the thought went away :D

I did that quiz where it tells you how much of a risk you are with your drinking and scored 12/12 so thought I might just roll it back a bit this year… worked out I should save about £70 a week…
