A lot of people have there groceries delivered these days. We have a car but order online from Iceland, Morrisons and Tesco.
I never order online for delivery as you don't get any choice over what is sent. I'm sure you'll get sent the stuff with shortest date on it. And the replacement item etc system is a joke from what I've been told.
I've always felt, fresh fruit/veg excepted, that the person picking wouldn't give a damn and just shove the easiest thing rather than the oldest into your shopping. That said, I'm probably wrong.
I can't believe Ian McMillan gets so many poetry gigs when we have a wordsmith of your calibre right here on the BBS.
I make a game of what items will be substituted for. The old Iceland Lottery. Order a tin of beans? Get a Kinder Bueno! Order a watermelon? Get a chair!
Wouldn’t get a delivery under any circumstances. A friend of mine got one on NYE from Asda and there was 7 substitutes! The most bizarre one being them giving her a pack of chicken bites as they were out of sushi?!?
Aww, so mams not going to Iceland anymore lol. Has the taarn got a Farmfoods or a Jack Walton's (Fulton's).
