@Scott Where are you today? Are you unhappy we've kept a clean sheet. There must be something for you to moan about, you've been awfully quiet.
Yes I'm sure he was, but as soon as we either go behind in a game or concede a goal then he's all over this forum calling for Clarke to be sacked. Just interested to know why when we're winning he's so quiet.
Fair enough. Although in my mind it's an awkward example that should maybe be an exception to the rule. Usually the players should be appealing for a foul and shouldn't be appealing for the card. But in the case of simulation you are literally appealing for unsporting behaviour, which is a card.
Great to see the players confidence growing, still plenty more to come from these players too. I would have liked us to have gone for it until the end to try and score a few more rather than riding our luck with Crawley missing some good chances at the end.
A comfortable victory, a clean sheet, Earl & Roberts making their way back. For me, I can't believe anyone will find something to complain about. Four wins on the bounce, two home victories in a few days. I'm one happy bunny tonight.
Other than the utterly inept Cosgrove, that was a great team performance. Corey got MOTM. Nwakali for me, but Corey & everyone else were superb. Great back to back home wins & a bit of positivity in the air with a 4 game winning run. Roberts back & Earl, who are our best 2 centre backs IMO. Not taking anything away from anyone today, other than the aforementioned. Great Watters got his goal. Credit to Crawley. They played like it was a cup final & could have had a couple, but Killip made some very good saves. He's a great shot stopper, but struggles with the more physical sides in the air, but so did the departed Slonina, who we won't miss.
Two home wins I’ve missed in four days but I couldn’t be more pleased Hopefully this great run continues at Northampton next week. Up the Reds…..
