I'm not a political animal AT ALL so I honestly do not know the answer. Is he just trying to impress Trump or is he a total fruitcake?
All of the above. I think he thinks he can influence the electorate here the same as he did in the US. He hasn’t quite worked out that funding Reform would probably split the right vote and cement Labour’s position.
Yes the bigger worry is if Reform were to break up and the Tories take on their rhetoric on immigration. They would potentially win then.
Why are the BBC giving him so much publicity is my bigger concern. He is attempting to undermine our democracy and spewing lies about our politicians he shouldn’t be given any air time on our mainstream media
IMO Musk may kill off the "acceptable face" of far right extremism & just leave it to a small racist minority, when it was just the "National Front". He will appeal to few of the conservatives, who have seen immigration as the main issue facing the country and a vote winner at the ballot box. Anyone with any sense can see there are bigger fish to fry, the NHS, social care, housing, schools and economic growth, etc. Whether Starmer & Labour can get some traction on these remains to be seen, but Musk will not sit well with many in the UK, other than the actual racist minority, which I actually think is quite small in the UK. The US is a totally different beast.
It's all gone a bit chaotic on the swivel-eyed loon front. Farage and Musk having a lover's tiff cos Farage wants to break away from Tommy Ten-Names. 1. Due to his realisation that he needs to entice more left leaning voters to him. 2. He s**t himself over the Farage Riots. Musk is an extremist though, he'd love little Tommy to spew his crap in the UK, like his boy Trump in the US and the AfD in Germany. Pillock.
Musk just wants instability all around the world because that’s how he makes money. The sooner people realise he’s a moron that shouldn’t be listened to about anything the better.
Perhaps he wants Tice to be leader!!! What will be interesting is whether his spat with Farage (over Yaxley-Lennon) affects his relationship with Trump, who has always enjoyed Nige's sycophancy.
One of the most dangerous people in the world. Completely unhinged, and with a platform that allows him to lie as much as he wants with know recourse.
Exactly. He's not a politician and he's got absolutely nothing to do with the UK yet the BBC are giving him top billing in their news simply because he isn't keen on farage. I'm not either but I'm not on the BBC news site
A rapidly growing population creates pressures on housing, schools, and the NHS. Individuals who don’t speak English, have different cultural values, and who struggle to get employment and be self-sufficient place pressure on councils and public sector budgets. Yes, many people just don’t like people who come here from abroad, but there are also reasoned arguments as to why a country would want to control the rate and volume of immigrants.
