    They’ve played well to be fair. Especially this second half. Don’t look like the side we played pre season, for obviously numerous different reasons but still…

    Liverpool made very hard work of that. The score was far more comfortable than it looked and no fringe player impressed enough to warrant game time in the league.

    It showed how little back bone we showed at Old Trafford too.

    I disagree. They were in control for large periods and mainly took their chances. Their young uns put on a good display.

    It was an embarrassment at United, but it's because it was so easy and simple. We had high full backs, they had speed merchants on either wing. Done
