    I thought he was gonna be one of our best ever players at the time. Very naturally talented, but just wasn't built for the rigours of English football.

    It could well be nostalgia as it was around the time I’d had my season ticket a bit and I was properly getting into it but I feel like that era we pulled some great foreign players out of the hat.

    None of these are forgettable by the way, I’ve just gone slightly off topic:

    Ferenczi and his slightly less impressive mate Rajczi.
    De Silva. Even though he was from Everton he was still a South American ace.
    Hugo Colace.
    Heinz Muller.
    The Brazilian centre back Souza.
    Hallfredsson.

    I thought he was a decent player and would’ve liked him to stay longer.

    Just looked it up now, he had a pretty decent career to be fair to him.
