    I liked Beresford. Ex-Luton iirc? Was about 100 year old when he played for us. Or, he seemed it, i was only about 12 at the time. Mind you towd Barry Conlon looked about 40, and he was only about 26!

    Yes, he was a class act but nearing retirement. Made a career as a reliant top league number two but could easily have been a Div One/Champ first choice.

    My own scariest age-related BFC moment was when I realised I'd become older than John Hendrie was when he took the manager's job!

    I miss Dominic Werling

    Pretty useless overall but an absolute cannon of a left boot. Any free kick in opponents half he was a threat from.

    Simon Davey signed him in the January he’d taken over and said he was the ‘best player in League 2’ at the time, a midfielder… cannot remember who we signed him from.

    He looked like he’d never kicked a football in his life when he started playing cameo roles for us.

    Robbie Williams.

    A half-decent LB ruined by Davey by playing him CM against Wednesday when they ran riot at Oakwell just after Xmas… that’s what he’s mainly remembered by now.

    Went onto Blackpool after us scoring in the Play-Off final against Yeovil to get them promoted from League 1.
