Just seen on Twitter asking who’s your clubs worst centre back.

Chris Hedworth, Gary Coatsworth, O’Neil Thompson

O'Neil Thompson played in midfield didn't he? And he only played once, so it's hard to say he's the worst.

Keith Curle and Andy Holt were shocking but I believe the were only loans. The worse permanent signing we’ve had ah centre half in my opinion was Mike Flynn. Absolute horror footballer.

Keith Brown. So out of his depth it was unreal.

Mike Flynn - hated that team so, so much. Absolute bunch of cnuts. Spineless, gutless, didn't give a flying fck.

Not sure of the worst. Full back is easy.
But not the worst CH. pretty sure many in front of him, But one of, if not the most overrated. Imho Dennis Souza. Other than Barnsley. His career stats speak volumes.

I think its difficult to say who the worst CB was. It might be easier to say who is/was the most overrated/underrated. Overrated I'd actually go with Carl Tiler. He was decent but nowhere near a big transfer fee (which we got). My opinion.

We have been blessed to see many great centre halves during my time mate. As you say, difficult to name the worst. No doubt there have been poor ones. But vastly outnumbered greatly by decent ones.

Scott Wiseman wasn't a centre half. But my oh my did we play him there (whilst a centre half who'd go on to play in two European Championship Finals and a World Cup Semi Final played at right back).

Otherwise, it has to be McNulty for me. I think the fact that Keith Brown was outed after about 10 games but we had to suffer Jim so long puts him ahead.

Its also possible that there may have been someone really good or kak in the 30's or 40's who we're not aware of. We're all talking from fairly recent memory.

His performance in one of those games set the club on the path to oblivion and obscurity from which we still haven’t recovered.

His selection, even signing, by Harry Bassett is unforgivable.

    Mike Flynn.

Keith Brown has come in for some stick recently. I don't think he was that bad but he did reserve his most hapless performance for Wembley.

Thought Big Bri showed some potential at times but the game just ran off from him. Had the odd good game for me. Remember him putting in a good display at Mansfield years ago.

    Mike Flynn was ******* woeful.
