    People often seem to forgot other clubs actually have to have an interest and then pay for players. See it all time with Cosgrove

    I'd be very surprised if another L1 Club comes in for Sam Cosgrove. League 2 at best.

    He might not be everybodys cup of tea but Sams scored 70 odd goals in competitive football.Sometimes its horses for courses and another move might be more suitable to him like his time at Aberdeen or Plymouth for example.

    Because of his age we get compensation if he joins another club on a free transfer in the summer (provided a club is willing to pay it) so it makes sense for us to keep him on our books just in case he smashes it.

    I think we're just going to have to accept the loss with Cosgrove, and then move on.
    And that's if anybody does want him after all.
    And as for Marsh, well unfortunately it looked like it was never going to work out for him here.

    We only get compo if we've offered him a contract. If we don't he goes for absolutely nowt.

    We have a option to extend Cosgroves contract this summer doubt we will take that up. Be nice If we could get shut this window. As for marsh local lad we all wanted him to do well effort there but never looked good enough.
