    This post was the slow death of football. A club willing to pay Haaland £550, 000 per week
    on a 9.5year contract is killing football and he is not the only one. We are not able and ever will be able to compete on a level playing field.

    While I agree, surely at some point the law of diminishing returns kicks in?

    It was a open secret that Neil Redfearn was going to be announced as manager
    Unfortunately the club is a shambles at the moment with players not getting paid and leaving in droves as well as fans boycotting the matches
    A very tough gig for Mr Redfearn

    Local Farsley community forum post says that Redfearn failed to show up for the team's "home" game yesterday, which Celtic ended up losing 1-6 to a relegation rival. The rumour is that he's walked out within a matter of weeks.

    My local non-league team's troubles are a brief respite from my frustrations with BFC's current plight, but it's sad to see things like this happening at Farsley, essentially all down to the actions of the owner.
