Sadly I'm going for a 2-0 defeat simply as a result of the postponed game last week. Interruptions like this always stop our winning runs and I also think we'll play badly today. The flow has been spoilt.
Ey? Their form is hurrendous, their GD is currently -16 and have players out injured. If it’s not 0-3 then there’s something seriously wrong - we cannot be slipping up against team like this.
Yes, you’re right about it should be a comfortable win but it doesn’t always work like that. Not the happiest hunting ground for us either. Here’s hoping we get the 3 points anyway.
I'm going 2-1. Tough place to go, but the lads will be well rested. Anyone can beat anyone though, as Shrewsbury showed on Thursday.
I'm not normally one to put a downer on things, but this has banana skin written all over it. I think the week off will have disrupted our momentum, and they've allegedly played a lot better than their league position would suggest since their new gaffer came in. They were only narrowly beaten by an in form Leyton Orient side recently, and have drawn with Wrexham in the not too distant past. Their only league win in the last 8 was at Cambridge, their last league game, and it sounds like it was a similar game to how they were at Oakwell in the cup. Sat deep, absorb pressure and take their few chances. Their keeper was man of the match by all accounts. That being said, play like we have for the last 2 months (Orient aside) and we should take all 3 points. Taking chances is key.
