realistically Watters could and should have got 5 goals today, starting from the 3rd minute. He worked hard to get into position but was shockingly bad with his lack of finishing.
I looked at the stats just before the first goal and couldn't believe how we weren't 2 or 3 goals in front and thought, "we'll lose this". Just call me Nostradamus...
I must admit I fully agreed with the co commentator Addie Moses. This match going to go 1 or 2 ways we would either get a hatful or we would be sucker punched to a defeat. Of course, been a long standing Barnsley fan I knew it would be the second option as it was against Bristol Rovers as well. But our manager must surely show the board a video of this match and say stump up some cash for a new striker as any competent striker would have had a least 5 goals today. I bet Dazza Clarke would be tearing his hair after this match as he can only set the team up but the players have to do the job on the pitch otherwise promotion will be a distant dream. Oh the joys of being a Barnsley fan …….

We’ve had that soft underbelly of conceding goals all season, a few clean sheets yeah, but conceding 3 today against a team who are struggling is very poor. Add to that missing a host of chances at the other end makes it all the more frustrating. Stevenage will be a tough test next week, we’ll see
Sam Cosgrove is one of the worst players we've ever had and thank goodness he's out of contract at the end of the season. Please don't activate the one year extension Mladen! I can't see anyone taking him off us this month even if we chipped in some of his wages! Watters, I don't know what to make of him, I'll be honest and say that before the season started I wanted rid of him, however, he's worked hard this season (when fit) and does get into decent positions but you just can't miss the chances he did today, it's unacceptable.
