    So far on this thread we have identified he's responsible for covid been a pandemic, Russias invasion, Israel and Palestine conflict and us still been in league one surely there's more. Scary times to come.

    Aye you’re right. He was wonderful. Did nothing wrong at all. Didn’t contribute to russia’s increased power, made the middle east safer and did an incredible job preventing and dealing with covid. Nothing he did has any lasting effects.

    I’m sure this time he’ll do just as great of a job.

    He’s already withdrawn from the paris climate accords and the world health organisation. I’m sure NATO won’t be too far behind. That’s going to make russia stop isn’t it.

    What a hero he is.

    He might want to, but the oil companies don't. If they drill more (and they are already at record levels of production), then the price will fall along with profits - making some of the extraction techniques financially unviable. And that's before you get to having to build new refineries.

    Just on the whole argument about the Southport killer. Am I right in thinking mugshots don’t get released until it goes to trial?

    Maybe just maybe this murderer was a bit of a loner & didn’t have a Facebook or instagram profile full of photos for the media to use?

    I’m pretty sure that before Lucy Letby went to trial all the photos of her were ones from her Facebook profile where she looked quite pretty & was all smiles. I doubt this was some kind of attempt by the media to portray her like that & would expect that they were the photos that they could get their hands on. Once she was prosecuted they started using her mugshot.

    So basically I think it’s standard practice for mugshots not to be released until cases get to court.
