Watched an unreal game last night against Barcelona, Benfica were 4-2 up after 75 minutes and lost 4-5.
What’s the most gutting Barnsley result you went to after we were winning? I remember us being 3-1 up at home against Ipswich going into the 90th minute and drew 3-3!

    Ipswich without doubt.

It was completely surreal. A few minutes left, content with an easy 3 points and when the final whistle went, relieved we came away with a point.

Probably not the most gutting, but I backed us to beat Everton 3-2 at Oakwell a few years ago with Winnall scoring first. I believe it was 245/1. It was coming in until Lukaku's equaliser in the 78th minute. I was gutted at the time, though I knew it was a long shot.

I also wrote out Odejayi to score first and Barnsley to win 1-0 vs Chelsea on a betting slip, but got asked for ID in the bookies, which I didn't have, because I was 17. I believe that was a more modest 50/1. That one was bitter sweet.

Weren't we 3-0 up with less than 10 mins to go and didn't they hit the post as well at 3-3 or am I mixing up games

Barnsley 3 Bradford 3, two Ashley Ward goals in the last 10 minutes. Two points that would have kept us up at the end of the season and led directly to administration.

We were 3-0 up with five minutes to go before David Watson misskicked the ball.

It was actually 3.0 in the 85th minute against Ipswich and drew 3.3

Can't believe only 1 so far has mentioned Weshday at Oakwell South.
Let's be reight here, what a time to score...( remember Brian Howard at Liverpool in cup?)

I walked out of Oakwell South with fingers in my ears...I didn't want to hear HI HO Silver lining or any other songs...

    Gutted...

IIRC he tried and failed to dribble past an attacker when all that was needed was a straightforward lump upfield.

Stoke 3-3 at home back in 2007 springs to mind, an horrendous display from Trevor Kettle and Liam Lawrence scored a pen in the 100th minute, think we were 3-1 up with 5 mins to go

Was at that game spent my £30 EMA to get ticket and bus fare. Was longest two hours on bus back to Pontefract ever.

I dont think so, im ptetty sure Lawrence scored to make it 2-2 then Macken immediately put us back 3-2 up. You're right about the mega late penalty though. I'm pretty sure it completed Lawrence's hat trick and the firat goal was a pen as well.

    Indeed.

    https://www.espn.co.uk/football/match/_/gameId/219988/stoke-city-barnsley

They equalized 3 times - twice with penalties. IIRC I won tickets and took my daughter to that match. Although she wasn't impressed
