We are winning one nil. Nzondo I don't know any of the other players in the team, as our twitter haven't told us the team. I am not there, a mate texted me am Emley Twitter are reporting the game
Not really. A very Young side. My reasons on the other thread. Young players in the main (vast majority, 1000s) at professional football clubs, end up playing at such levels. So clubs in those lower tiers pick em up. Most premier league young uns finish up never playing a first team game at league level. Some only if they go on loan.
Emley are a good side, in fact they are performing so well I believe the chairman had a meeting with the fans to ask them if they wanted to get promoted or not from their current level, because it takes them into a whole new world of costs and organisation!!
Emily in the semi and will play either Hemsworh MW or Worksop Town who play next Wednesday. It’s the Sheffield Senior Cup and the final is always at league ground - it was Hillsborough last year.
These county cups are great for our young lads, the semi pro clubs usually talent serious too as it’s a trophy that they have a decent chance of winning. no shame in losing, the level is very good
I am not sure. There doesn't appear to be a pathway into the first team for our youngsters, as fans and I suspect the management want players who can step in straight away. Have we the patience to give a youngster a run of say 12 games? One youngster who did have a good loan at Guiseley until he got injured was Leo Farrell. 7 goals in 15 games
