    Ill take the bait. :) and give my opinion on both.
    I'd have had Billy in the squad. But guessing he wouldn't have entertained us. Especially when Donny went knocking. But credit where its due. still knocking em in, even if league 1.
    The chances we squander he'd have snapped up more than a few.

    As for Evans. Wouldn't be my choice given his antics. But i imagine would have offers from other clubs lower down the pyramid. 16 in 88 for Preston in circa 4 yrs. Not exactly prolific.

    He said antics. He was found not guilty of a crime, doesn’t mean he’s not morally bankrupt for doing what he freely admitted.

    His not guilty verdict of rape, I get. But he didn't cover himself in glory . Involving another player and I really couldn't understand his partners forgiveness even though she said he acted appallingly ,and her dad's involvement in supporting him tbf.
    They chose to do that against their initial judgement. Which is their perogative, not so sure I'd have been so forgiving if he'd brought my daughter (if I had one) such disrepet.

    There’s a few club legends who have done wrong and just as bad things, yet are talked about day in, day out. Evans is a nobhead but we adore some personalities just as bad.

    Really. ?. Adore personalities just as bad. I would imagine most folk don't.
    As for club legends are we talking Barnsley or any club. ?. There has always been rumours of issues. But none fit into that category as I'm aware at Barnsley.
