Ran the show in the middle of the park and unlucky with his shot on target. Good game.

Horrible little get, ran the game all day. Kind of player we’d love but never have.

Looked like he was carrying a bit of timber (or a really tight top) but he did play well tbf.

I thought their centre back, number 5, was the best player on the pitch by a mile.

Agreed. Did exactly what was needed.
Hoof it, pass it, head it, clear it, put a foot on it. Right decision every time.

He wasn't up against much tbf

Was it Piergianni? He's been their best player every time we've played them. Three times they've beaten us now.

I was just going to say the same. Can't have been our Phillips that got MotM because side from gesturing for more noise from the Ponte he was anonymous.

I’d love him in the middle of our defence. Been impressed with him every time we’ve played them.

Lack of character Shone through today some of our players looked flimsy, definitely no battling Barnsley on show.
It might benefit the team to sell a diamond and sign a few rocks.

I was pretty confused there because the only justification for our player’s performance today is if he is on his bike and didn’t want to get injured. I laughed out loud when he was awarded MOTM.

Motm. Killip by a country mile for me.
None of our other players can hold their heads up after that inept display. They'll know it themselves and hopefully put a better show on at Wycombe and next week v Burton who have picked up the last couple of games or so.

I was on about their Phillips number 22 who looks like Christian Karembeu.

Farrugia was ok - positive on the ball, looked to try and get forward and create, and not a car crash defensively unlike his replacement when he took a knock.

No doubt he’ll be out a while now and we have gent back starting…

But he’ll be my vote when the poll opens.

Nobody else could be considered other than Killip and possibly Earl - the rest were absolute bobbins. Even Nwakali gave it away a bit and looked limited by their physicality.
