The Board are not to blame if one of our so called amazing midfielders can’t complete a ten yard forward pass, or whether the defence switches off. Those players are good enough to beat Stevenage (check the league table), however they are not performing to such standards. I’m not his biggest fan but DC should not be sacked either, those wishing so must have been on the pop since lunchtime. Were we poor today, absolutely. An abject performance, but we’re 6th in the league with one of the best away records in the country. I believe most people on here would have snatched your hand off for 6th place at this moment if you’d have asked them at the start of the season. Keep the faith.
Not so sure. The board sanction signings and sales. And staff who advise to make those decisions. Someone needs to be accountable, and we have to be honest that the manager only has a job to do with what he's given. So who do you suggest is held accountable if we sign players who aren't very good?
Someone has to be accountable for coaching and our lot aren't getting any by the look of it, so can we please get rid and get a decent manager in rather than a coach then he might be able to say who he wants and not rely on stats
I disagree with your criticisms about Clarke tbh. But I do also wish we could go back to hiring a proper old fashioned type footy manager. Who has a few scouts who go around the grounds, and who has the biggest say in transfers. Rather than this role going to a so called Dof, or somebody else upstairs, who doesn't seem to have a scooby-do!!.
