It’s been very very wet in Farnham local golf courses are closed due to waterlogged ground my course measured 46mm rain over the weekend and it’s not getting any better

I see Farnham Town have a pitch inspection tomorrow lunchtime for their game and I’m not confident it will be on especially go
Any news of any pitch inspections at Wycombe?

Yes, get it called off. Then we'll have a top striker in by the time of the re-scheduled match.

It's Darren Drysdale, the ref tonight. Am sure it was him who allowed Super Sammy Cosgrove's barge goal and he got demoted.

Hopefully he is not wanting to even things up.

Think you might be right. Would be a bizarre choice of game for him if that's the case and might not be good for us......

You mean the one where the keeper fell over in comical fashion and the ball slipped from his grasp? If so, why did the ref get demoted? There was nothing he got wrong with that call. The keeper was taking the **** and made a fool of himself.

Agree, but I'm sure I recall he was stood down for a couple of weeks.

Darren Drysdale is free to officiate again after being given a backdated ban for improper conduct after his clash with Ipswich player Alan Judge.

The 49-year-old locked heads with Judge while refereeing Ipswich's game against Northampton on 16 February 2021.

Drysdale, who admitted a breach of Football Association rules, has also been warned about his future conduct.

He said the abuse he received from Judge which led to the clash was "the worst he had experienced as a referee".

At a hearing, an independent regulatory commission was told Judge swore at Drysdale and described him as "cheating" and "bald".

1 defeat in our last 6 with him in charge, including 4 clean sheets.

Bit of a good luck charm is RAF Sergeant Mr Drysdale of Lincolnshire.

Whilst I am not convinced it was a red it was a stupid challenge to make. The ref saw the challenge real time, we have the pleasure of replays

So were the majority of the Barnsley players. Not sure that result was solely down to the referee
