Spare a thought for the Watford Women having this clown in charge
Really not sure what their 2 straight reds were for other than if they questioned him ignoring an injured player or expressed a view that the pitch wasnt really fit for play.

Id love his reasoning for only giving a yellow to the Lewes Keeper in the clearest red card you will see all week

Bent or at best incompetent, it's not just lower leagues it's at every level - its about time they got in ex pros. Ally McCoist would make a better referee than any in the championship and many from the premier league. Knows the game inside out and has the verbal skills to control the players. You watch within 5 years there will be ex pros in the middle east reffing matches.

Disagree, Ex pros have been football league referees before without much success. If you think there is favouritism now, it would be nothing compared to having ref’s with past links to clubs/players.

The first one is an absolute joke, the second not much better - but the second you’ve no idea what she said - she was having a proper strop it has to be said. The first one yeah she’s had a flounce but the ball was in play, so she hasn’t kicked it away to delay the game, and she’s put it out of play to stop the game for an injury. Yeah she’s booted it and came across a little petulant but it’s not a red card or even a yellow really.

The second one she’s said something - though deliberately removing the corner flag is a bookable offence I believe as it is an essential part of the pitch - a bit like deliberately moving the goalposts etc - and she did it twice if you count doing it after the ref had put it back - so she could technically have had two yellows there.

But the ref has a superiority complex - and is woeful too as not sending their keeper off is unforgivable.

I’d also question whether the game ought to have been stopped to be honest - the ball wasn’t rolling true in places due to the standing water and the sudden stops, or changes in direction that causes, can lead to serious injury.

The women’s game has proportionately a lot more ACL and PCL injuries than the men’s game. That could have happened easily there.

Drysdale wasn't bad at all yesterday. Got both decisions right for me and we can have no complaints about the penalty or the red card.

Yeah we can, if some of us thought one or both were harsh.

That’s fine so did others on here, but some of us thought that 1 or both decisions were harsh, therefore we can complain. Doesn’t change anything but neither does commenting about the game in general but we do it.

Of course we can. The penalty he ignored the fact that Connel was pulled back first and that Pines played the ball. I doubt it would have been given at the other end. As to the red card I’m baffled how anyone thinks going in hard and winning the ball is worthy of a straight red card I accept Roberts didn’t need to go in so hard but still
He go a lot of other decisions wrong in their favour too Killip had the ball headed out of his hands we lost both our forwards to foul challenges not even spotted he even gave them a free kick when both players kicked the ball at the same time and their player fell over and we came away with the ball
That’s ignoring several soft fouls he gave them for minor contact where he ignored much worse on ours.

thanks for explaining that one I had absolutely no clue why he had given the ball back to them after it as there was nothing wrong with the challenge at all.
